Artificial Intelligence Ph.D. Candidate

Hi! My name is Fariba Lotfi. I am really interested in Artificial intelligence and its possibilities in real life!
I'm a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Computer Engineering, Sharif University of Technology. My research interest is Machine Learning, especially Deep Learning in Image Processing tasks. I'm working as a research assistant in the Image Processing and Machine Vision Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Mansour Jamzad and Prof. Hamid Beigy. My Ph.D. dissertation is about automatic image annotation using deep learning. Currently, I'm working on image annotation using graph neural networks. My master's dissertation was about community question answering using deep learning, specifically duplicate question detection. Also, My bachelor's dissertation was about an environment with multi-agents with the duty of pushing a box using Q-Learning.

Using machine learning to discover patterns in your data and then making predictions based on often complex patterns

Deep Learning

Using Deep Learning as a tool in order to mimic the structure and function of the human brain

Using Computer vision in order to understand the content of digital images
